Administering the CogAT test with Riverside Secure Browser
- Install the Riverside Secure Browser from the App Portal

- If testing on a student computer: before opening the Riverside Secure Browser, the teacher must run the Prepare for Testing app on the student's desktop and enter the teacher's username and password. This will disable any remote control apps running on the computer that will interfere with the testing browser.

- Once that has been run, then you may run the Riverside Secure Browser

Note: Because the testing browser requires the user to disable all remote control applications, the CCPS Help Desk may not be able to assist with testing issues. In many cases, an on-site Technician or ITRT will need to assist with testing issues.
Troubleshooting tips:
- Try running the Readiness Check tool at https://DMcheckreadiness.programworkshop.com
- If the App Portal says it cannot connect, click on the Device Info link on the bottom left of the screen, wait 10 seconds, then click Back on the top left. Sometimes this will force the App Portal to refresh.
